Mumbai: SBI General Insurance, one of India’s leading general insurers, today announced the appointment of Mohd Arif Khan as its new Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO).
With over 25 years of service at the State Bank of India (SBI), Khan brings a rich legacy of leadership, operational excellence, and digital transformation across banking and financial services.
Mohd Arif Khan began his career with SBI in 2000 as a Probationary Officer, rising through the ranks to hold influential positions in Retail Banking, Strategic Training, and Core Banking Solutions (CBS) implementation.

In his most recent role, he served as General Manager, Network-I, at SBI’s Local Head Office in Thiruvananthapuram, where he spearheaded key business and operational initiatives.

About Mohd Arif Khan
Khan is a postgraduate in Mathematics and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA, USA). He also holds a PGDFA in Advanced Wealth Management from IIBF and a Risk Management certification from the Risk Management Association of India.
His appointment highlights SBI General’s commitment to building a future-ready leadership team that is capable of navigating evolving market dynamics while staying customer-first.
